Description

This feature would be something akin to onenote's canvas which would allow users to take notes within the app not just by typing, but also by writing and drawing. Users would also be able to add shapes, change pen color, and add text anywhere in the canvas window. Other features include being able to annotate PDFS

Impact

This would allow users to make Appflowy their all-in-one notetaking app. The main use case and userbase for this idea is college students who want to take both text-style notes as well as onenote style notes. Right now, many people use a combination of Notion and Onenote to keep notes. I myself did this while in college and it annoyed me to not be able to keep all of my notes in one place, especially because the Notion/Appflowy style is a great way to organize things. Being able to annotate pdfs and draw things would be a game changer for an app like this, especially because often it is difficult to do full design work with just bullet points.
