Bug Description

Title says all. This shouldn't be happening

How to Reproduce

Create some events in a calendar.
Hover other them
Observe that the terminal shows messages of retrieving data from backend.

Expected Behavior

This shouldn't be happening

Fedora Linux 38

Additional Context

Curiously, sometimes modifying the event makes the behavior go away. Still need to pinpoint the exact cause of this issue though.
