Description

I would like to request a new feature that enables mindmap-style visualization within AppFlowy. The idea is to allow users to create and interact with nodes in a mindmap, similar to how Whimsical works.

Each node represents a concept or topic.
On tap/click of a node, users should be able to open and edit detailed notes associated with that node.
This would combine the visual clarity of a mindmap with the depth of note-taking, making it easier to organize ideas, brainstorm, and connect information.

Impact

Users impacted are: Students, Teachers, Project managers & developers.

Brainstorming sessions: Quickly map out ideas and expand them into detailed notes.
Project planning: Visualize tasks hierarchically and attach notes/documents to each task node.
Education/learning: Students can create concept maps and attach explanations or references to each node.

Additional Context

Proposed Behavior

Add a new Mindmap View option in AppFlowy.
Allow users to create nodes and connect them with edges.
On tapping/clicking a node, open a linked note editor (existing AppFlowy note editor can be reused).
Support drag-and-drop for rearranging nodes.
Optional: Export/import mindmaps as JSON or markdown for portability.
