Description

Custom icons, similar to those found in Notion, could enhance the user experience by simplifying navigation and allowing for greater personalization to suit individual preferences.

Impact

Custom icons enhance user experience through personalization, quick recognition, and reduced cognitive load, benefiting all users.

Custom icons for the callout would also be nice, and allowing them to be added with /emoji would be magical 🪄

We supported custom icons for page, database view, and database property.

We'll be working on adding custom icons to /emoji and workspace icons. These tasks will be tracked through https://github.com/AppFlowy-IO/AppFlowy/issues/7485
