Hi @BeeSee20Eye35 , I like the gallery layout, but it's not included in the short-term roadmap. We can make it a contributor project, so someone in the community can take it up.

while the grid and kanban views are most useful indeed, I also feel the absence of gallery/cards view. I've never used Notion, I'm coming to AppFlowy from Anytype, which is far less capable in terms of database management but it does offer a card view which is great for certain type of databases, at least as an alternative way to view the entries.

so it isn't in anyway a dealbreaker but I'd be very happy to see it in AppFlowy as well :)

I'm new to the app and I just found out that adding a cover image to the task makes it visible on the board view as follows:

So for anyone who is looking for gallery view, in the meantime you can use the board view and cover images for the items. Then just create a few columns and you have something close to a gallery
