Description

Came here from a discussion on Obsidian.md and someone mentioned Appflowy and I became frustrated with the fact that the website doesn't actually describe what Appflowy is or what it can do, just that it's an open source alternative to another program called Notion.

The documentation is very pretty, but fleshing out the 'about' is sorely needed.

Impact

People shopping around for a new note taking app (is this a note taking app? I'm only assuming as such because Obsidian.md is)

Currently, people use it to take notes, track tasks and projects, and manage consulting contracts.
We're working on the collaboration feature, which will allow a team to main a centralized knowledge base, run development sprints, manage goals, etc.

tbh, I agree with @redactedaccount
I was trying to find out what is the full capability of features from Appflowy, but no luck. Like what ☝️ @ghost tried to find out about Kanban.

I was trying to find out whether Appflowy is capable of calculating a formula in a dynamic table like how Excel has the ability but in much simplified version with more better visual. The formula will be just a simple sum() with *, +, -, and /.
