Description

Similar to Notion, a user might want to create tasks that have categories that have been set for a view.

E.g., in Notion, if a user creates a view which filters a Select property to, “Not started”, all the rows added to the view should have the property “Not started”. Currently, all rows added to filtered views would not have any filtered properties attached to it, and the user would have to go back to the plain, no-filter view, to look for the row and add properties manually.

The same applies to other filters such as when “Date” is “Not empty”, it should automatically input the date of that row to the created date. (+ Add filters for date properties too please!)

Impact

Users who create many advanced grid views.

This issue comes from the forum. I am not the author, but I'd like this feature to be implemented.
