Description
How many lines make sense in the title of a Kanban card certainly depends on how each individual works with it.
One line makes sense so that you can see as many cards as possible at the same time. However, if I want to get an overview based on the complete titles, it would be very practical if I also had the "Wrap title" option in "Settings > Group", similar to "Show ungrouped items" (see screenshot). With a switch I could then easily switch all extended titles on and off again at short notice. Otherwise I have to click on individual cards to open the card. But maybe it's just me and I need to get used to a different way of working with the Kanban board. My solution: I added a text field for the extended title as the first property in the Kanban card. I can then show and hide this property via “Settings > Properties” (s. screenshot).
If the implementation with this switch is too complex or does not fit into the operating concept ("in the future only one line"), then the current implementation has the advantage that the user can decide for himself how many lines he wants from the title using a manual line break would like to see.
But I have another suggestion that would affect how the title is displayed: I use a wide monitor and only a few (5) stacks. That's why it would be practical if the width of the stacks adjusted to the width of the Appflowy window. And if the Appflowy window is too narrow, the stacks will have the minimum width that corresponds to the current fixed width. Then even if the title is limited to just one line and the Appflowy window is wide, more of the title would be visible
