Description

Currently increasing font size only increases the font size in pages and the interface remains the same, on Hi DPI screens this leads to a very little font (almost unreadable and cannot be configured by user in settings).

Most DE/Window Managers allow for fractional scaling, this should be tested under Wayland/X11 and using XWayland on Wayland.

I'm using Plasma 5 KDE right now with fractional scaling set on screen that is 3:2 in ration and a little bit more bigger in resolution than Full HD :

Screen 0: minimum 320 x 200, current 2256 x 1504, maximum 16384 x 16384
eDP-1 connected primary 2256x1504+0+0 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 285mm x 190mm
   2256x1504 60.00*+ 48.00

Impact

Well just better UX, this would also help as Notion has this behavior by default.
It doesn't make sense to only increase parts of the font size on the UI and leave another part just fixed for the user.
