Description

In many countries you use a date format that is not offered in the workspace settings, for example day before month, separated by dots. Currently the only format with day first uses slashes. (Note that the local date setting on my computer is actually D.M.Y)

Impact

Most users who don't live in the USA.

Additional Context

The easiest solution would be to offer a text field where users can paste their own formats.
