Bug Description

Version installed: 0.8.6
On first install (ever), I selected the option to operate as an anonymous user. However, the mechanism for importing templates seemed to be missing. To test this further, I attempted to go through the "Login" flow. Entering a gmail or protonmail address resulted in a dialogue saying a magic link would be sent. No such link was sent to either email address.

How to Reproduce

  • Install version 0.8.6 from .exe file provided on github releases page.
    • this must be a clean install, with no previously existing data in the default location(s).
  • When prompted to log in, select the option to be treated as an anonymous user.
  • Select the gear icon next to where it says "me" in the upper left side of the UI.
  • Under "My Account" left click the "Log In" button.
  • Enter a protonmail or gmail address (this should be the first time the address is being entered).
  • Click "Continue" button on the screen or press "Enter" on the keyboard.
  • Note the dialogue box mentioning the "Magic Link".

Expected Behavior

A link should arrive in my email. Alternately, the UI should detect that no login has ever occurred locally on this install before and that flow should be provided similar to initial start.

Operating System

Windows 10

@Code-exE-Software was it in the spam or junk folder?
