Description

Hi, I was taking notes without logging in. Afterwards I decided to login. When I login I lost my previous documents. I tried to import data from folders but couldn't achieve that. I've already exported the document it wasn't that much problem for me but it could be a serious problem for many people. I wish we could automatically sync documents that we wrote before logging in.

Impact

Person who uses AppFlowy without logging in

Additional Context

@Tahinli You can refer to my video on how to log in to your anonymous account if you haven't changed your local storage path after logging in.

Thanks but I wish there was a popup says "hey, there are documents that belongs to no other account do you want to sync them ?" I think this can help people much more since it's a bit strange to copy documents to another account by hand.

Since you closed this issue, this feature isn't going to be implemented ?

Had the same issue today. Used anonymous notes.
After logging in with google, the content of my notes was transfered to my cloud account as FOLDERS !!!
All my notes are gone and content unrecoverable...

@ghisloufou , your data is not gone or unrecoverable. You can log out and go to the anonymous mode to get the anonymous notes.

@ghisloufou , it's likely that the app doesn't point to the right folder. Which application version are you on?

If you are not logged in to an account and write some note, there should be a button, pop up or something to sync unsaved notes. I understand that whole process can be done manually but I'm just saying that as a enhancement
