Bug Description

The functionality for changing emojis or icons is not working properly. When the "change icon" option is selected, the emoji pop-up appears very slowly, which hinders the ability to search for or scroll through available options.

How to Reproduce

change any file icon or pick emoji using /emoji the pop-up shows nothing until the mouse interacts with it
scrolling through the emoji is unresponsive
trying to search for an emoji is unresponsive

Expected Behavior

Emoji selection and icon changing work properly when called or prompted.

Operating System

Ubuntu Budgie 24.04.01 LTS x86_64

@LucasXu0 I can close this issue since I'm able to solve this issue by installing using Flatpak but on the other hand IDK if someone else might be facing the same issue
