Description

“I’m seeking a solution to automatically import GitHub issues, fetched via REST API and stored in a Google Sheets CSV file, into an AppFlowy database. AppFlowy recently introduced a CSV import feature. I’ve successfully extracted issue data from GitHub using REST API in google sheets. I can export to CSV, but need help automating this. I experimented with Zapier, but the import was messy, and some tasks were missing. Is there a way to automatically import the complete CSV file into AppFlowy, ensuring data integrity and task completion?”

Impact

    •	Project managers who track GitHub issues and want to centralize project information in AppFlowy.
•	Developers who prefer AppFlowy’s interface for managing tasks and issues.
•	Teams using GitHub for issue tracking and AppFlowy for project management or documentation.

Additional Context

•	The ideal solution would involve automatically syncing the Google Sheets CSV data with AppFlowy, so that new/updated Github issues
are reflected in AppFlowy without manual intervention. AppFlowy allows users to import data from a CSV file into the data form. You
can import data from an external ‘AppFlowyDataDoNotRename’ folder. AppFlowy also supports importing templates.
•	Currently, there is no official REST API for AppFlowy, but internal interactions use REST APIs. The addition of a public REST API in the
future would greatly enhance integration capabilities.
•	Consider error handling for failed imports or data discrepancies.
•	A direct integration or a script-based solution would be preferable to manual CSV uploads.
