Description

Things I love about AppFlowy are the UI, the design and functionality of the tables, smooth and easy to navigate iOS app.

Things on my AppFlowy wishlist if I move forward (trying out AppFlowy and Capacities to replace Obsidian): pinch to zoom on images - you cannot do that right now in the app and it definitely a huge drawback for me, and the ability to read PDF's within the app - also a huge drawback.

I'm still trying to decide. Overall, Capacities is taking a lead, however, I use tables heavily and AppFlowy tables definitely beat Capacities tables. PDF's opening in a new window may or may not end up being a dealbreaker for AppFlowy, but the ability to zoom in on jpg and png files is impossible to live without when you are on the go and mobile only and need to zoom in to be able to read something.

Personally, I may end up using both. From a teaching perspective, Capacities has a lot of amazing features that really tie things together. For example, having dedicated Book object that I can add books to Zettel style, customizing properties, then linking those anywhere I am assigning that book, while being able to both keep them sorted as a Collection as well as in a tagging system is really unbeatable.

Having said that, for personal workspaces, I feel that Capacities is a bit overkill. I really love AppFlowy for my day-to-day and home & family projects. I find myself adding to my AppFlowy for those personal things, but needing Capacities for school.

Hi, may I work on this issue if no one else is currently working on it?

Got it! I'll start working on it and aim to submit a PR by next week. Let me know if there are any specific guidelines I should follow. Thanks!
