Is the server up to date? You will need to do a docker compose pull to fetch all the latest image, and potentially update some of the .env variables depending on your current version.

I have observed the same thing on two different Mac machines running MacOS 15.5 or 15.7. Had a working Self Hosting instance running 0.9.64, after updating to 0.9.99 the MacOS version stopped working, just giving me:

code:NetworkError msg: error sending request for url (https://my-selfhosted-site.example.com/gotrue/magiclink ) code:Network error, message:error sending request for url (https://my-selfhosted-site.example.com/gotrue/token?grant_type=password)

Have gone through the .env variables now and retested with 0.9.116, bu the issue persists. If I try the Windows Desktop version everything works as expected. I have tried older versions of the Desktop app, but it is the same issue. I have also tried to wipe all data inn /Users/my.user//Library/Application\ Support/com.appflowy.appflowy.flutter/.

I cannot find any trace of the call in the nginx logs, so it seems to be stopping in the app somehow. If I try to do a password recovery in the Desktop app it connects without any issue, but still stops when trying to login again.
