Bug Description

Image

Any reason I do not have "Self-hosted cloud" in settings before login? I just can't to logging in to self-hosted server. Simple changing urls do not have effect. The same urls + Self-hosted cloud ON - works great on the Windows app. Windows app have "Self-hosted cloud ON" setting.

How to Reproduce

Just install AppFlowy-0.9.8-android.apk

Expected Behavior

I expect to see "Self-hosted cloud ON" setting in startapp settings.

Operating System

Android

AppFlowy Version(s)

0.9.8

Changing the base url should already work, after a restart. Do you mean, login is throwing you some errors, or, despite changing the base url, you login into the official cloud server instead of your local server?

Hello, thanks for the reply. I have no official cloud server account. No errors, no any info, magic link is not works, login by password not works (incorrect login). Credentials is copy\paste from Chrome android browser Appflowy page where login is working ok.

Server is placed on the local network. Windows application works fine.

Also, I tried to login from browser /console but got this:

PS. NOT any logs in gotrue container, after "error sending request" (url in error message is correct).

Some news:

  1. Download iOS app (0.9.9) from Appstore - logging in successful (no need set "self hosted" really).
  2. Can't change workspace name in Windows desktop app (just change it in local cache, not on the server), changing workspace name in iOS works good.
  3. Install on the new android phone - same thing - can't login.
  4. Logging in to appflowy cloud works fine, I setup "Self hosted CLOUD" settings and set my local domains with restart app - no effect, amdtoid app can't connect to the local server.

Looks like android app have a network issue.
