Description

from what i have seen on reddit and other github issues related to appflowy, it appears that appflowy does support mutli-column layout on other platform, on windows typing /column which was a suggestion on a reddit thread met with positive response, i find no options, dragging and dropping also doesn't work

image1 an image a user shared in #8132 related to a bug in Columns Layout on Debian 12 platform Image Weekly To-Do List previewed in appflowy desktop

but to be fair the web version drag and drop doesn't work either, though some users mentioned that it was working few months back, but this doesn't make sense unless it is only supported on linux based system as the user mentioned in #8132

Impact

anyone using notion's multi-column feature migrating to appflowy using windows devices

Additional Context

i am using windows 11 with appflowy version 0.9.8

Hi @icarus-00, can you take a screenshot while typing /columns? Also, are you using the Weekly To-Do List template from our official website?

i attached a video, in it i used the template in a new workspace i made, i tried dragging, and wrote /columns in web the dropdown menu had nothing, and windows it only showed table and toggle menu

just wanna add that it is just funny, i was waiting for this feature for a year since i used appflowy, adding columns via drag and drop etc, and it was there this whole time

Hi @icarus-00, can you upload your log files? You can export them by going to Settings > Manage data > Export log files.

You are using v0.8.1. The column block is not supported in this version. You need to upgrade to the latest version.

... 🔥AppFlowy Configuration { app_version: Version { major: 0, minor: 8, patch: 1 }
