Description

use case: productivity and ADHD brain dumping.
I make a weekly spread with 2 columns.
Column1: to-do lists grouped by different categories (day, priority)
Column2: time log of events/thoughts/accomplishments/summaries per day

The problem:
When my time-log is longer than my to-do list, I have to keep scrolling up and down to update them.

Potential solution:
have column 1 to be "floating" in the sense that it is always on top and follows when I scroll down with column2.
Then also have an "independent scroll" for column1, where if my to-do lists are beyond the height of the window, it will retain its scrolled position when I scroll around for column 2.

Why can't I just make a huge spacing to match the gap? Like align thursday of column 1 with thursday of column 2?
there is some scope creeping and I don't exactly finish everything in one day. Also, the huge spaces don't give me a quick overview of all the tasks for the week when I open the spread.

Impact

Productivity, ADHD, work logs, journaling

Additional Context

to log the time, I write down the following to trigger a markdown format
" 12:31H -- "
This changes the text color of the time and then a horizontal bar for the log. if there is an automation for this like "/time", that would make my entries faster.
