I downloaded the latest app update, but when I logged into my account, I could no longer access the data that was on my device, even after switching to local mode. I really need this data; it's important to me. I hope there's a solution, noting that the data folder is still present in the path.
@LucasXu0 commented on GitHub (Nov 18, 2025):
Hi @osamalzabidi, before I help you restore data, please back up your data folder first.
Here are a few questions that would help me restore your data quickly:
@osamalzabidi commented on GitHub (Nov 18, 2025):
Hi LucasXu0, Thanks for the reply
@LucasXu0 commented on GitHub (Nov 18, 2025):
The cloud data and local data are separate, which means your cloud account won't have access to your local data.
You can try:

Yes, this is the problem, I Log Out then I see new data not my old work :(
@osamalzabidi commented on GitHub (Nov 18, 2025):
The folder that contains all my documents is exists, but I can't access it from AppFlowy
@osamalzabidi commented on GitHub (Nov 18, 2025):
The folder that I mentioned in the red arrow is the one that contains my old document, but when I open the app, I get the second one.
@LucasXu0 commented on GitHub (Nov 19, 2025):
You can try the following steps:
@osamalzabidi commented on GitHub (Nov 19, 2025):
I do this and it me back to this login page, and when I enter my account still do not see my data, even if I enter as anonymous, I get a new folder with blank data?!
@LucasXu0 commented on GitHub (Nov 20, 2025):
If you want to access your local data, you can't sign in with your account.
You can check my video and follow the steps to recover your data.Update: After investigating the issue you have, I've found that the current recovery method doesn't work. I need to consider another solution and will keep you posted.
@osamalzabidi commented on GitHub (Nov 20, 2025):
Okay, thanks, I'll be waiting for a response
