Bug Description

I'm unable to set the local data directory when running and configuring the Android app, which is hindering my ability to effectively use AppFlowy without needing an account.

When I tried doing this on my Linux install, straight after restarting, the app launch screen lets me choose a directory.

changed directory on desktop application

There is no way for me to achieve the same process on Android, and I'm wondering if this could be changed in a future release.

start screen on Android for local configuration - note the lack of option to reconfigure the working directory

How to Reproduce

  1. Install the APK package from the Releases page.
  2. Run the application as an anonymous user - skip sign-in.
  3. Change the Cloud Settings parameter to Local, restart the application as directed.
  4. Continue with local model.
  5. Review settings on the Android application.

Expected Behavior

I am expecting to be able to go to the settings and be able to change the working directory for where AppFlowy files are stored - instead, I'm unable to do this, and I'd have to manually copy and paste data from the Android folder within the file manager to a desired directory.

Operating System

Android 15

AppFlowy Version(s)

0.10.4(2910401)
