Description

If I'm taking meeting minutes or writing a journal/document, and I create a to-do item. I would like to be able to add that to-do item to a database table so that I can track it. In the same way that you can copy a link to a block, I would like to be able to have that link be linked to a table.

Impact

Having this feature would make Appflowy at parity with SiYuan and LarkSuite for being able to track tasks identified across documents. It would also significantly decrease the amount of time it takes to copy-paste and sync tasks across documents.

Hi @SolarDesalination, thank you for the feature request. I am trying to understand your needs a bit better. When you say that you want to "add that to do to a database table" do you mean linking to an existing entry in a database, converting a new entry in a database and then having a link to that entry, or linking to a database?

Sorry for the delayed reply.
Converting a new entry into a database and then having a link to that entry.

ie. In SiYuan for example, I can create a To-Do item, and then right click - and select - add to database. Then I can track progress in the database and the page where the to-do item is. So if I click the checkbox in one, it shows up on the page, or on the page - the check box is clicked in the database table.
