@vichbb commented on GitHub (Apr 13, 2023):
What can import folder function come to? Unable to import folder at present, I was unable to migrate from joplin to appflowy.😭
@LucasXu0 commented on GitHub (Apr 13, 2023):
@vichbb, Are all the files inside the folder in Markdown style?
@vichbb commented on GitHub (Apr 13, 2023):
@LucasXu0 commented on GitHub (Apr 13, 2023):
Good insights. I believe we can implement the ability to import folder with Markdown files, by the way, not for special document styles at the moment.
@vichbb commented on GitHub (Apr 13, 2023):
In addition to the markdown files, there will also be an external _reources folder that will hold markdown's images and link files (zip). I think a strong import feature would be easy for people who want to try appflowy. Thank you very much! 😁
@vichbb commented on GitHub (Apr 13, 2023):
@LucasXu0 Sorry, I forgot, I want to import the same name as the file.
@annieappflowy commented on GitHub (Apr 14, 2023):
Could you please explain what your multiple levels of directories look like? Does it mean there are subfolders under a parent folder?
@vichbb commented on GitHub (Apr 14, 2023):
yes.joplin supports multiple levels of note-taking. For example: A1 and A2 under A, a lot of markdown under A1, a lot of markdown under A2 @annieappflowy
@vichbb commented on GitHub (Apr 21, 2023):
@LucasXu0 Hello, I have tried other software, and I found that there were problems in importing pictures when importing marddown, so please pay attention to this.
@vichbb commented on GitHub (Apr 28, 2023):
@annieappflowy @LucasXu0 Hello, I really like appflowy, but the software I am using now, joplin, already has a lot of notes, so I hope the import function of the enhanced version can be launched as soon as possible. If possible, I would like to donate 20 dollars to express my sincere gratitude!
@annieappflowy commented on GitHub (Apr 28, 2023):
Hi @vichbb , thanks so much for your encouraging words! We have a plan for supporting your feature request. I'll update you on this thread when we start the development. It might take a while though because @LucasXu0 is currently working on our mobile app https://github.com/AppFlowy-IO/appflowy-editor/issues/97.
@vichbb commented on GitHub (Apr 28, 2023):
Ok! Thank you very much, please provide the way of donation at that time!
