I have read the current limitations, and confirmed that this hasn't been requested as a feature request previously.

Your Feature Request

TubeArchivist skips sponsorblocks when playing in the web interface, but this functionality does not carry over to Plex when using the tubearchivist-plex scanner and agent.

Describe the solution you'd like

Ideally, in Plex the configuration of which segments to skip via the sponsorblock api could be replicated. i.e. skip self-promotion, etc.

Acknowledged. This was planned as part of our roadmap, but there are some limitations within Plex. So, this will be built into two functional ideas:

Integrate Sponsorblock segments as chapter blocks within Plex. Sponsorblock segments will be synchronized with TubeArchivist to reduce API integrations and complexity.
Determine if there is capability to allow automatic skipping, if an "Intro" can be segmented to help with this, or other functionality that can be brought in. Might have to build to functionally allow something like https://github.com/mdhiggins/PlexAutoSkip to be utilized instead.

Will need more testing and checks to build this functionality.

Expected to be built into v0.2.0 as a secondary feature of the release. Expected to only cover adding the segments as Chapter Blocks within Plex. Automated skipping would involve more development/integration with other tooling.
