Bug Description

After you make a numbered list by typing [1.], using the enter key to add another number makes an issue where the dot appears on another line, but this line is not editable and the dot just stays there unless you delete the number entirely. make sure to look at the gif to see the behavior.

How to Reproduce

In a document, type "1." then SPACE and type some words there, then click enter to make a new line for the second number.

Expected Behavior

The dot will appear right next to the number like this:

and not like this:
