Bug Description

When creating blocks in a kanban board that has filters, if another filtered view of the kanban in added on that page, it will fail to filter and any new items will be displayed, regardless of if satisfies that filtering criteria or not.

How to Reproduce

  1. Create a kanban
  2. Link the kanban on a page
  3. Create a new property with the select type (this bug may exist for other types as well)
  4. Filter the kanban view on the page with one select option
  5. Create another linked view of the kanban on the same page
  6. Set up filtering with another select option
  7. Add an item in one kanban board. The select option will automatically be chosen and once added, will show up in the other view regardless of the filter

Expected Behavior

Filtering should work

Operating System

Windows 11 24H2

AppFlowy Version(s)

0.9.3

Additional Context

Not much else to add here (and yes, I will learn flutter eventually)

That is indeed the current behavior. In any case, what is the use case of having duplicated view on the same page, but also having the same filter behavior?

In my use case I have multiple personal projects going on right now. Some of them slot into a larger project and so I was setting up a page that basically tracked all of the projects and I wanted to have a view of all major projects and minor projects all on the same page. I'm also planning on linking that Kanban database to a calendar as well.

Correct me if I am wrong but, in such case, won't it be ideal if the filters are tracked and applied separately for each Kanban view linked in the page, rather than having the same filter? Since, you can filter by different project for different view.

EDITED: ok nvm, I rewatch the video, I misunderstood. Let me see how we can fix this issue.

Np. It happens to the best of us. I may be able to set up my dev environment soon so I could have a stab at this myself. Would VS Code be enough to do the job or will I need to download Visual Studio 2022?
