Your Bug Report
Describe the bug
Added source according to the guide, but no videos are showing
Steps To Reproduce
Added source as the guide showed. Folders have been chowned properly too
Expected behavior
Videos should populate like shows and movies
Relevant Jellyfin log output
Anything else?
Don't know why two playlists appeared before I added any shows - as per the guide -but I hid the playlists in "Profilepicture - Home - Playlists - Hide". It showed the only two playlists I have, but without videos and not possible to playback.
Anyway, that's not the issue, the problem is that when I add the source to Jellyfin via "Library Management", and I choose the correct "youtube" folder, nothing is showing up.
@Jurrer commented on GitHub (Nov 8, 2025):
well, that should be issue with Jellyfin, not TA.
Jellyfin should be able to see all the folders you're seeing in your file manager.
If you're sure directory and file permissions are okay, maybe try mounting it in other directory, for example under /data as your other media
@groke76 commented on GitHub (Nov 8, 2025):
Yeah, there was no permission issues, but the strangest thing is that it started working after two days, I have no idea why because I redeployed docker many times and rescanned stuff. Maybe Jellyfin couldn't handles that TA downloaded at the same time when I was setting it up for the first time
@Jurrer commented on GitHub (Nov 9, 2025):
No idea why, but I'm glad it works.
It could be that a new container was re-created(not just restart) and files were mounted properly.
