Bug Description

scaling error when switching to more than 100% on 4K monitor

How to Reproduce

  1. open settings

  2. Browse display settings

  3. change scale to more than 100%

Expected Behavior

I expected the user interface to adapt to the larger scale, as well as other software

Operating System

Pop OS, Linux Mint Xfce, Manjaro Genome

AppFlowy Version(s)

0.0.8.1 and previous

I can confirm this bug also exists on Linux Mint 21 Cinnamon.
Note that the small window as pictured above cannot be resized, nor maximised.

Tried on Ubuntu 22.10, the problem seems to be the app doesn't support fractional scaling (150% for me) on X11, 200% works ok and also Wayland scales fine. For now, I can either use Wayland, or use GDK_SCALE=1 or GDK_SCALE=3 to open the app on X11 with 150% fractional scaling.

If I recall this was also reproducible on Zorin OS 16.1.

Same thing happening on Kubuntu 22.04 with X11.
